Join us June 23rd at 6pm for a talk by Wayne Glover. He describes his talk as follows:

"I would be interested in demonstrating a product I am developing.  the goal of this tool is to improve document management for Plone users.  Since your clients are already using Plone for their CMS, this might be of interest to them.  Also, I would love input from you folks as to the general usability of this product.

The product allows:

1) Easy turning on of webDAV (including adding the secret sauce that Microsoft requires for Office to work with it)

2) Documents created in Word using a predefined template, when uploaded to site, will be parsed and put into the proper project, document type table, and certain other key information will be read from the document..

3) For users that are not part of the project team but still need to occasionally submit documents there is uploading documents via email.  what this does is allow authorized people (based on email address - to prevent spam) to send a document to a unique address (eg.   meetingminutes@myproject.com).  when the document arrives, this product will know which project to apply it to (myproject is the project name) and which document table to place the document (meetingminutes) and from whence it came (return email address)

4) A plugin for Word that makes all this simple."

We will film the talk and upload it for people who are unable to attend the meeting.
